Beechwood is a family run, superior bed and breakfast in Bowness in the Lake District and is a traditional Lakeland style 1900s house retaining many of its original features including a beautiful stained glass window which was designed by Scott Baillie (Blackwell House). Exterior floral displays enhance the building’s appearance and the guesthouse has been awarded several ‘Windermere In Bloom’ awards.
The accommodation is ideally suited for exploring the Lake District and there are excellent transport links. Beechwood is a mere 10 minute stroll from Lake Windermere and all local amenities such as shops, restaurants, bars and local attractions. You can travel by boat to Ambleside to the North or Lakeside to the South or take the island cruise around Windermere.
